Hey guys, trying my first roll of TPU today the filament is so flexible on the roll.. I have it printing decently but I’ll get into the print and the filament will slip off the extruder gear which then obviously ruins the print.. how can I correct this? My spring is pretty strong causing the bearing to push up against the filament and extruder gear pretty tightly idk what else I could try.

Could be an issue with temp dropping on long feed times. You may need to bump up the temp 5 degrees or so so it will stay at temp during long runs. You would need to watch the temp during the infill printing to see how much it drops if it is. Another issue could be under extrusion due to your feed rate on your extruder not being calibrated correctly. You get the steps per mm set right but you still need to calibrate the slicer to set the correct feed rate by doing the single wall test print and measuring and adjusting until it is .48 wide.

I’ve noticed on prints this is 100 percent infill.. that after the first 5-6 layers it starts to become fuzzy almost.. but the end result and the top layer and bottom layer turn out great.. 250 extruder 60 bed temp I’m down to 80 on feed rate because that’s where I found it to not over extrude. Cooling fan is on now at 100 percent I fixed the fan issue. Could anything in my setting be causing this fuzziness or is it normal? Movement is all low at 25 first layer is at 15
