Ahh that explains it. So I need two of the same colors because I have yet to find a different color of PLA in cart form. SMH. Thats so stupid. I really wish I hadn't gotten this POS! Mine is still under warranty but out of return time to amazon. They XYX sent me a free new print head but failed to tell me that I needed two freakin PLA carts. I called them several times and they keep blowing me off. This company should not be able to sell on Amazon at all.

This is what I don't understand. I have a brand new 2.0 with an upgraded extruder from XYZ. I can load the PLA XYZ cart. But the XYZ software won't let me print with it. It keeps saying it is the wrong filament. I really don't want to flash because it new and under warranty. Anyone has any ideas?

What's the temperature are you using to print PLA? I saw at another post that 190 for extruder and 43 for bed it's a good setup.

I have an other PLA material and I cannot print it. Since I have a lot of ABS colors, I supposed need to calibrate every time I need to use PLA... so boring for it! But I think Im gonna be happy if I can print using PLA just once.

scobo wrote:

Yes, changing temps will cause metal parts to contract or expand which will affect the gap between nozzle and bed.
Basically, you need to check your bed height each time you change temps and adjust if required.
The clicking is usually caused by the extruder gears not feeding the filament correctly.

Good point! I had not even considered the extruder would be expanding. I figured printing at 10C hotter would not make that much of a difference, but I'll give it a try. Already have the shroud and kapton tape around the extruder mimicking your setup as best as possible. Maybe lowering the bed another .1 or .2mm will make the difference.
