I swapped out the original heater pad with a 120v one and a solid state relay to run it. Now I heat up to 95C in about a minute.

+1 on the upgrade...

In the meantime, throw a potholder on the bed while heating and this will help a bit...

There are many options but that one is fairly straight forward. You're just going to have to search around for ideas.
Most bed heater upgrades involve a PSU upgrade and a relay (SSR).

Yeah, I really want to. Do you have any links to pages where people have done that so I can get an idea of what to get and how to do it?

It is probably time to upgrade your bed heater to a more powerful unit.

Exactly what the title says. It takes at least an hour to warm up and it's fully enclosed. I upgraded my nozzle to an E3D and put in a new power supply, but it only made it heat up slightly faster (used to take even longer than a hour, couldn't even reach 90 degrees no matter what). What all can I check to see what is wrong with it? It also has a really hard time getting over 90 degrees.
