#1 filing a couple flats into the sides of the hot end so it would fit into the extruder shoe- total time about 60 seconds, and
#2 turning down a 1/4" flat washer to just under 16mm diameter and using it as a spacer between the top end of the hot-end and the extruder.  It works perfectly.  Total cost: $0.

I ordered an E3D V6 hot end to go with it and found that the slot in the foot of the BullDog XL didn't quite fit the E3D V6.  I filed a couple flats in the hot-end so it would slide into the foot of the extruder, and filed a groove in the heat sink of the hot-end to allow access to the screw head that holds the foot onto the extruder.  Once that was done I screwed it all together and found that the hot-end was not solidly gripped by the BullDog.  I've seen some on-line solutions where people have put in pieces of wire in to act as spacers, and I even saw that someone sells a replacement foot for the extruder that eliminates the problem, but I have my own solution.

I have access to a couple milling machines at the makerspace, so I'm just going to mill the foot of the extruder down about 0.5mm.  That should ensure that it clamps the hot-end tightly.

You could download this .stl and convert it back to .skp to pull dimensions.
I'd send you the dimensions but am no where near my printer or PC.

Come on, one of you guys has the dimensions somewhere...  a simple sketchup file or even a scan of a handwritten drawing would be fine...  how big are the holes?  How far apart are they, what are the overall dimensions of the base plate?

I found this:  thing:215457 but the one piece that's missing is the one that counts the most: the base plate.

My printer is 100% custom, so I need the dimensions of the extruder with base plate with the fan and without so I can design the carriage for the extruder.

I ordered one and I'd like to design the carriage of my printer to fit before it arrives.  I will be using it with an E3D V6 hot end and would like to use the extruder's fan instead of the hot-end's fan if it works OK that way.

RRD doesn't have a drawing posted on their site and internet searches have found nothing.
