Been using it for over six months without any problems. No banding or wobble. Works well with .1 layers if needed. There are many versions of it on Thingiverse.

Look for "M3 Z-axis mod" this is common. It has the added benefit of the M3 rod being thin enough to flex- any loads transferred to the support rod (loads should be confined to the support rods.)
