I tried to print a simpler object, the STL file is attached

However i realised that when the printer prints the file, it was orginally design to be a circle, the printer prints it in a rectangle shape. anyone know what could have been wrong?

thanks!

The bed was set to about 0.3mm height between the nozzle and bed.

Realised that in the attached file, the bottle opener suppose to have a radius on the body, however the machine printed it as a straight line.

Anyone can advice what i should do next?

thanks!!

z offset screw is a coarse adjustment. Fine adjustments are made with the 3 leveling screws on the bed ; 2 front, 1 rear. Use the manual controls to move the head around to all the corners and move the screws to raise/lower it. Make sure the bed is heated so you don't have to factor heat expansion/contraction.

And even if it's a coarse print, print the thumbscrews (http://www.soliforum.com/topic/242/thum … m-beneath/) and superglue them to the underside of the screws under the bed. Makes adjusting a pre-heated bed so much easier.
