			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>A quick way to test if the mosfet is bad is swap the bed and extruder plugs on the bottom of the main board then turn on the bed to send power to the extruder, !!! be careful !!! and only do this if you understand what it is doing...as there will be no temp control to prevent the hotend from destroying itself... you shouldn&#039;t have to leave it switched on for more than 10-20 seconds to see if it is getting hot or not.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Have you checked the resistance of the heater cartridge?&nbsp; I just pulled out my old SD hot end and it measured 7.2 Ohms<br />I don&#039;t know if that&#039;s right but it worked when I took it off.&nbsp; Also if you apply 12V across it should heat up.&nbsp; Make sure you unplug from the board first.&nbsp; I used to use a car battery to heat it up when I had clogs.<br />Maybe it is time to upgrade to an E3D.</p>]]></content>
