What I am wondering is what firmware changes are needed to allow the printrboard variant SD3 to work with this new hotend. Particularly the PID values, and the max allowable temperatures?

I haven't typically had to muck around with firmware in the past for printers (reprap, type a, ultimakers) so this area is unfamiliar to me.
