Sweet! appreciate the point to link carl_M1968

Even though I did find and read the thread before posting my question. I went back over it and looked at everything, and found it was due to the hidden break in a wire at a zip tie. patched it and I have atleast a print I can be happy about. Now just time to tune it in or learn how to expand it's abilities.

I get this may be going to no one but I may have fixed one issue. I traced the wire to find a break in the yellow x axis wire. stripped patched and tested in jog mode no shuddering so off to test it with a simple print. hopefully I don't run out of filament before I get it fixed. (some is on order and I'll try the cart reset in a few weeks)

Ok im pretty sure it has to do with the cable. I can put it in jog mode and actually tap the cable while it isnt even moving and create the grind sound. And worse if I do it while its moving. Ill try to upload a video. Any suggestions on how far back to trace the cable to find short?

I replied to it just before you posted. I have found that while printing I get a loud ratcheting sound. Looked closer and it seemed to hapoen when the cable sleeve is just barely touching the frame. And if I push the cable through the handle opening. I can actually creat the noise but it doesnt seem to shift afterwards. My belts are tight but I dont have any comparison to how tight they should be.
