Just out of curiosity, I see that the set screw that holds the thermistor in (and supposedly is used for bed calibration) is removed. Was that just for maintenance, or have you removed it permanently?

I have thought of filing mine down so it will still hold the thermistor in (i removed the hi-temp silicone on accident a while ago) but not be there to interfere with prints.

However this is a Da Vinci and their boards and drive circuits are not typical and may not be able to drive a higher wattage core. I would stick with 25 watt which is stock when dealing with a stock XYZ board.

So I am pretty sure I know what the answer is but is there any way to fix this issue. One of the wires thats wrapped in the red insulation snapped off the end of the extruder. Not sure why that wire was so brittle but it seems to have broken off cleanly from the metal base of the extruder. I have a feeling I will just need to purchase a new extruder but I figured I would post here if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this. I added a picture to show the problem.
