I've added an nozzle fan, and so far it has helped significantly. I've started a thread for documenting my design of a fan system for the Press.

A nozzle fan helps and bridge speeds about 75%. The idea is to stretch a bridge slightly, not match extrusion. Some versions of Slic3r (if that's what you use) handle bridges better than others. 1.0.0RC3 does a nice job for me and on that same file yields a bridge span easily past 150mm. Do a search, at one point we had a "bridge off" lots of tips in that topic.

I'm trying to improve my printer's ability to bridge gaps, which is to say, I'm trying to make my printer bridge gaps in any capacity. Now of course, if enough filament piles up, it will eventually bridge the gap, but it's nothing like this beautiful example of a proper bridge.

I understand the need to match the nozzle's travel speed with its extrusion speed, but it's not even starting properly. Has anyone else been able to overcome this problem?
