Topic: 3D printing with recycled coffee cup lids

Hey Everyone,

Sharing this on behalf of my startup, ReDeTec. We extruded some PS filament out of recycled coffee cup lids and printed with it earlier in the week. Definitely room for improvement, but we're pretty excited with how well it went given it was a first try with dirty lids. Videos and details are all available on our Indiegogo campaign here: igg.me/at/ProtoCycler  we'd love to know what the larger community thinks about printing with post-consumer waste plastics, or if anyone has tips on printing with injection-mold grade PS...

Thanks! smile

appear to be some significant diameter variation. Are you testing the filament with calipers? Are you finding it is hitting the 0.02mm you promised in your campaign? The second photo especially looks to be more like +/-2mm, not 0.02mm.
