Topic: Baudrate?
What baudrate is everyone using. Especially those that have made the switch to Repetier firmware. I keep having a problem with the printer just stopping at some point during the print. It seems to be linked to mu baudrate in the fact the higher I set it the sooner it stops. I know the issue is communication related as I can print from the SD card all day long and for any length of time wit no issue.
This actually does not apply to those using stock firmware. On stock you actually print from the SD card as well. It just uploads the file to the printer over USB. On stock you could disconnect the USB at any time during printing and it would continue until complete. Try the Repetier and the ptint will stop as data is sent from the host to the printer and processed in teal time.
In my case it seems almost like Rephost is just shoving the data to the printer rather it acknowledges or not and once Rephost sees it has sent all the data it just stops the printer. That does not make since though because the way I inderstand the operation, it is FIFO in the buffer so no later commands can ever be processed before the current commands get processed.
So any clues what might be causing my prints to stop and it seems to be related to baudrate? Just wanted to ask what rate others use.
