Topic: Aluminium foil tape

Anyone know if this any good to use on a heated bed instead of kapton tape ?
It seems a lot cheaper but I suspect it won't take the high temps needed for ABS.

the glue wont. plus likely wont stick plastic well.

I do however use it on the ceiling of my inclosure to keep filament from scuffing the paint or the filament snagging while letting it slide easy while printing.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

go with glass and hairspray or glue stick.
