There are some more picture here: http://ggalisky.imgur.com/all/#1

Most of them are ABS, but a few of them are TPE, PLA, and Nylon. It was 2 hours and 15 minutes per vase so 30+ hours of printing.

All of the filament that was used for this was made with the Filastruder.

I did all of these for my DIY filament reviews, and if you haven't checked them out you should. Link: http://www.soliforum.com/forum/23/diy-f … materials/

Neat stuff. Spiral vase mode? I've been playing with this mode and t glase lately. Lots of fun.

Indeed spiral vase mode. How is your experience with tglase? I am hoping to win some in the Christmas give away, or just buy some.

Re: 15 vases in 4 materials

I've had great success and great failures. I think my biggest issue with it is I forgot toPID autotune to 212 (I'm new to 3D printing in general) so I'm going to give it another go tonight. Here's a vase I made at 240C, 70C bed, spiral vase. Bumping up the flow rate slider in RH has a dramatic effect on transparency and optical clarity. I printed this one at 135 flow rate.

Printing solid has been fun. Stuff has a dark, cloudy look at 100% infill. It's also VERY strong. It has just a slight amount of flex that makes it damn near unbreakable.

I hear bigger success comes with a bigger nozzle. Waiting on a 0.6 to find out.

Looks awesome! I have a 0.6 nozzle laying around and waiting to be used. Speaking of hot end parts, I cant wait to try out E3D's new dual extrusion systems.

Those vases look good; lots of different colors too.  When you run a color batch, how much filament to you make at a time?

Usually 57 grams, but if I needed to, I could do like 5kg's at once. It all depends on how much filament I nee.

Maybe I could offer filament like http://www.faberdashery.co.uk/products-page/ these guys do. If anyone has requests for a particular color and amount I'll see what I can do.
