Topic: Extruder drive question

I've noticed that the idler roller on my 1.0 seems very wobbly, almost like the axle hole is too large for the shaft. I was hoping that someone could check theirs the next time they remove the extruder to verify. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terminology, but I'm talking about the silver wheel with the black/white pattern on the face that rotates freely and is secured with a c-clip. It seems like I get a significant amount of play perpendicular to the axle.

Re: Extruder drive question

I have removed them in a 1.0 and Duo and they could be very thigh and somewhat loose on others.
Thigh is better to the point it is almost not moving by your fingers, but they are wobbly at all. If it does not come out and/or make your filament jam then I don't think It could mean a problem.

Re: Extruder drive question

As long as you can't hear or tell that your filament is slipping then it is not causing any concern.
