Very Cool! Makes the Z axis speed very important the way it prints and having no clutter around the hot end to allow for repeatedly plunging z-depth for every triangle printed on each level.

I can see it being used for finished objects as well. It would be perfect for printing a structure which you then wrap in paper mache or clay, or fiberglass and epoxy (though I'm not sure how the epoxy woutd interact with ABS).
