Topic: Alphagary 3019 pellets?

Does anybody know if this is extrudable to filament?

It is the kind of flexible rubberlike that hearing-aids and other medical stuff is made of.

(i could not link to it), but look at alphagary webpage.

Re: Alphagary 3019 pellets?

I'll answer myself wink

Yes it was extrudable and printable. Much flexier, stickier and softer than Revolve3D's experimental flexpellets.

but it is probably not safe to inhale the fumes. It smells like ass when extruding and printing.
Nasty strong smell that gets to my head wink Will definitively need ventilation.

Extruded at 177 degrees C and printed at 215c.

It is also colorable with R3D's and CraigRK's masterbatch.

Need to print even slower than R3D's flex and will also need 4-6 hours drying in oven first..

I will upload some pictures and videos of the flexing tomorrow.
Right now i am printing a small version of OpenRc Truggys tire for test.
