Topic: Replacing Kapton on Bed

the Kapton Sheets I got with my printer was only.0025" thick
and it tore easly when getting parts off the bed.
So I ordered a sheet of 12" X 12" X .005" kaqpton from McMaster-Carr.

I cut it big enough to cover the top and the edges
I used the wet method to apply it.
The Kapton was so Thick that it would not stay down on the edges
so I took some 1/2" wide Kapton to pull the sides down and stick it under the bed.
this stuff is thick enough maybe it will last 6 to 8 months.
