Topic: Filament extruder machining required and power supply ?

Dear All ,
Recently ,  i stumbled upon bob teeter's consulting page , if you google filament extruder on kitbom you'll find his BOM on KITBOM website

Bob teeter here builds a filament exruder that can extrude PLA and ABS , he selected a motor that is 12 VDC and runs on 2.5 AMPS maximum. Unfortunately he doesn't list the power supply in the BOM , do you know what kind of power supply he uses ? .. I know he is here in this forum , do you happen to know if he did any machining while creating this filament extruder ? .

If you know please answer me

You could just send him a PM or Forum email.  I am sure you can figure out his username and with forum email he doesn't need to be logged in to receive it.

No on machining, yes on welding.

Any 12v power supply with at least 3A output should be fine.
