Topic: Day 1 Prints

2 of our day one prints, out of the box. Basically touching nothing, using pronterface/skeinforge.

Doing a very ambitious print using Repetier now, after adjusting the bed a lot better. Exciting times, I have 2 3D artists in this house, it's going to be fun big_smile

The bottom of the cube got a bit munged, but it was the first print, so still happy, rest of it looks fine.

Really nice! My Companion Cubes' bottoms also come out mangled too, with or without support.

Most support removed, just needs quite a bit of work sanding it back, with another new piston printed (expect to see lots of engine parts in our future).

Next time we would print something like that in 2 pieces, but this really was a test to see what the solidoodle could do, and its really impressed us.
