Can someone explain how to update to the latest Repetier Host

I would like to install the latest Repetier Host and keep all the settings, profiles etc. from the Solidoodle tailored Repetier Host 8.5 that I installed when I got my printer. Can someone explain how to do this step by step?

All I've managed is to install the new one seperately, with no presets or settings for Solidoodle, and without proper connection to Slic3r.
