Topic: Kit enclosure issues

Hi all, I have lucky filastruder serial number 777 (reversion 1.3). I decided to buy the kit enclosure (1.3 was sent to me) and am having some problems putting it together. Maybe I'm not supposed to use the spacers like it was on the original kit, but I can't fit the front and back plates into the side slots due to the sheer length of the auger and the hex socket. Also, because of this, the thrust bearing doesn't press against the wood plate. I have no idea what I should do and any help would be appreciated.

Re: Kit enclosure issues

Hmm. Couple options here:

1.) shorter socket (I can send one, or you can get one for $2 at your hardware store)
2.) trim the hex end of the auger to be shorter. You'll need a dremel with a cutoff wheel.

Thanks Tim, You've already sent me so many replacements, I'll just head to the hardware store tomorrow! Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong.
