Topic: Possible to change order to unassembled version?

Hi- just throwing this out there; Would it be possible for customers to change their orders to an "unassembled" status, and receive their unassembled printers earlier in exchange for printing out x amount of solidoodle parts for future orders? Because I would totally do that.

SD2 with Sanguinololu board, glass bed mod, E3d_v5 bowden version hotend (currently direct drive), Lawsy Mk5 jigsaw replacement, octopi printserver, drv8825(tiny troubles)

You mean like a kit that you put together yourself??

We've had a few people ask this and the answer is a definitive no. Our printer is not produced in a way that can easily be done at home, and we are not geared in any way to sell parts. We're working on the lead time, but please understand that our business has always been optimized for fully assembled printers.
