Topic: Avoid crossing parameters

Hey all,

I have both slic3r and skeinforge set up, and am loving the speed of slic3r. One question though, slic3r seems to cross parameters on each layer which leaves slag every time it passes. Is there a way of telling it to avoid doing so? skeinforge doesnt seem to have the same issue printing the same object. To give you an idea of what I am printing, it is a box with four holes in it, which i plan on using as a mold. I am trying to avoid using skeinforge as im printing 1mm layers and dont particularly want to print the fill every layer.

Thanks in advance.

Can you post a picture of the slic3r issue?

Re: Avoid crossing parameters

What temp are you printing at?  Going a little cooler might help reduce oozing.

I'm printing at 200. What can I go down to safely?

Re: Avoid crossing parameters

195 still works fine, and it will extrude at 190, though the layers might not bond as well.
