Do you solder the lead from the thermocouple to the side hole in the nozzle?

No. Which is why it doesn't say to do that in the instructions.

The collar/nipple is not heating up, and wanted to make sure I had it right. The PID reads room temp, and I have one end of the heater collar in pin7 the other in pin10.

Did you install the jumper between pins 8 and 9?

Nope! Did now and that did it! Thanks. Didn't see that in the diagram.
