Hiya from Ohio

Hobbyist, sometimes programmer, Linux nut;  looking to put some of my mental mechanical designs into real life, and also print off art my GF designs. Have wanted a 3d printer for a long time, really leapt on the Solidoodle because of the price point, but I also love supporting small American companies. I like the solid steel frame (laser cut plywood just looks tacky and flimsy), and hope to toy around and get the build resolution rivaling the ultimaker.
