It does have the advantage of being bigger than the presto, but it you need more space you can just get a big pot, a hot plate, and a folding steamer basket.   I know those are hard to source, maybe I can put together some kits for $150.

Hot plate + bent sheet metal, a small bit of drilling, bolting & glass door'ing & you can make a front load version for far less then $50

Edit: And make it look less "hack-job'd" like the one this kid made. Is that silicone inside, holding the glass on?
