Topic: Therminator 5 Hot end

Has anyone purchased one of these therminator 5 hot ends?
Either thru their finished Kickstarter or from http://repraptech.com/.

I'm trying to find specs on how to connect this hot end to my solidoodle 2.
Would I need to design some completely new housing? They've said they will put threads in the top if I can get them a size.

Sorry, this will potentially be my first hotend upgrade.

SD2 w/ mods: Rumba controller, ATX PSU, SD pro case, glass bed, with more to come...

Didn't do that, though I did order and upgraded to the "chess piece" ceramic hotend that was featured on hackaday awhile back. The ceramic barrel fit perfectly on lawsy's mk4 extruder. The guy is selling his spares on eBay. Works like a champ, though an all metal hotend also sounds pretty awesome.

looks like it uses a standard j-head style mount.
