Topic: Heya from KY

Got my first printer in early this week and after a few misprints to get everything dialed in, I am finally ready to print!

This is the first time that I've bought or made anything that you couldn't just go out and buy a replacement part for, or for that matter that I couldn't get supplies for locally, but I hope this is as much fun as it looks.

Welcome to the new world smile

To help ensure you don't end up out of action, I strongly recommend printing:

Of course there're plenty of non-printable pitfalls, but you prepare for what you can.

I got burned by one of the Y idler brackets cracking Friday night and had forgotten to add those to my pre-emptive spare parts - luckily, I was able to reconstruct the broken one with ABS glue and it held long enough to print a mediocre new bracket! Now that it is on there, I've printed 2 more better quality spares, just in case.
