Re: Released: Repetier-Host .85b / RH-Mac .54

eek, just updated mine and now having issues.
"I could not find the generated G-code file"

enabling log says ..
"<slic3r> Can't call  method "clone" on umblessed refererence at C:/prog files/rep-host/slic3r/lib/std/slic3r/Print.pm line 157"

(i typed it in so folder names are not spot on ..)

Thought I would have alook at print.pm and there is no slic3r folder in the std directory.

what did I do wrong ?
did nothing apart from install new version and run. wrong ?

installed 0.84 over the top of 0.85 .. working now.
I have no idea why its just mine, must be a config incorrect somewhere.

Re: Released: Repetier-Host .85b / RH-Mac .54

My SD3 arrives tomorrow, so I'm getting things ready.  I see that the Solidoodle page has an RH download with profiles already loaded, but it isn't the latest version of RH.  I actually downloaded RH 0.85b before I realized that the profiles were included with the SD download link.  Is there somewhere I can score the .ini files for both 0.1mm and 0.3mm for the SD3 for RH 0.85b?  (wow, that was a lot of acronyms)

The settings are stored in the registry.  If you've installed the Solidoodle version of RH, then look here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\repetierSolidoodle\printer

What I did, was I exported that branch, then edited the file and replaced repetierSolidoodle with repetier and then reimported it.

Do so at your own risk.

Re: Released: Repetier-Host .85b / RH-Mac .54

I updated and had problems.  Prints would stop after 20 to 30 min's.  Reverted back to original install version (85b) and all works well now.

Thanks Arcadenut, but I never installed the SD version of RH.  Isn't there a way to export/import the .ini files that are compatible with the SD?

Re: Released: Repetier-Host .85b / RH-Mac .54

I have an SD2 so my settings will be different than yours however, if you can download the ini files from Solidoodle, you can open the slicer config page then under the File menu you can import those settings using the Load Settings option. (At least on the PC version.) This will bring in the Solidoodle INI's to the latest version of RH. After that, when you upgrade from RH's website, all the settings will be brought into the new version automatically.
