Topic: How to change Nozzle (da Vinci mini)

Hello

In a video someone show how he disassemble the Print Head of the da Vinci mini/junior!
Not an easy project.

I read an article of the Prusa 3D Printer for the Sizes of the Nozzle and would like to change to 0.25mm nozzles
https://blog.prusaprinters.org/everythi … eter_8344/

My questions?

1) Which 0.25mm Nozzle will fit in the da Vinci mini
2) Where can I change this size in the native XYZPrint software?

Re: How to change Nozzle (da Vinci mini)

I don't think you can change the nozzle size in XYZPrint since XYZ doesn't expect you to change out nozzles on these units. However, Cura now supports our printer (in a limited fashion), and I'm sure you can change it in that software.

I've never tried a nozzle swap, and I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle.

Re: How to change Nozzle (da Vinci mini)

If you slice it for 0.3 and try to print it on a printer with a 0.4 nozzle - it won't allow the print to be started.
As far as i know the printer head cartridge is programmed some way to state the nozzle size.
I have 0.3 and 0.4 for my Jr.
