Topic: Modifying da Vinci Mini with an heated Print Bet

Hello

I am new here an want to make a modification to the "da Vinci Mini w". I think about buying a Heating Bet to mount under the Aluminium Bet. It hast the size of 8*13cm an will fit between the 4 Screwholes. The Temperatur should be between 40-50 digress Celsius. I think it will take up to 15-30min to heat the Print Bet to this temperature?

The Power should come from an USB? I don't want to connect an extra USB-Adapter. Is their a way to take 5Volt from some of the Internal Board of the "da Vinci Mini w"

Any experience with such a Modification, or maybe a better solution for heating.

Re: Modifying da Vinci Mini with an heated Print Bet

there are many 3d printers ou tthere with heated beds and many manufactures.

does the davinci have a heater output or a thermisistor input. my guess they left these off the board as well to save money  . you can not just stick a heater on and apply power.
