Topic: Need to run load filament

I have a Davinci 1.0A Running repetier software.  I find that I have to run load filament for every print I do or it will not feed for several seconds.   Is this normal?  Am I doing something wrong? Does the same thing is Simplyfi also.

You need to add a skirt in your slicer. Make it 6mm from model with three lines and one layer. It will print that first which will get the filament flowing for the model.
