Topic: Question about PLA or Tough PLA

I know PLA is biodegradable but I am thinking of printing a vent clip phone holder for the car. Will the car get to hot and cause it to warp. I live in florida si the car interior gets HOT during the summer.
I know ABS is ok but at the present all I have is PLA and Tough PLA.

PLA will warp and deform in the temps that a car can get to in the summer. Tough PLA is just made to with stand more impact and abuse, but not temperature. If it is to be used in a car I would stay with ABS. I use PETG for such places myself. I use for parts on printers that will be near the hotend as well.

pretty much what Carl said.

even the PLA that can be heat treated will never stand up to the kinds of temps the inside of a car will see.
