Topic: Rumba not duplicating Z axis

I am trying to duplicate the z axis on my rumba controller board, I have it set up in Marlin, in configuration adv to set up dual z motors, and I have the duplicated z stepper plugged into e0, as in marlin it said it would use the first available port. When I actually try to move the z axis, only one stepper motor moves. Any suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated.

I have now noticed that the z axis is now running from the e2 slot, and wont drive the stepper in the actual z slot. Is this a software or a hardware problem? please help.

P.S
I ordered a mini rambo because it will be already set up for dual z but I can only use one extruder on it. If anyone knows a way to add an extruder to the rambo mini it would be very appreciated.

Re: Rumba not duplicating Z axis

connect both Z motors to the Z port, install regular Marlin. Done.

yes, the Rumba CAN handle this.

There is zero reason to "dublicate" the Z ports
