Topic: Piclop/Atlass No move Néma 17

Hello everyone
I mounted a Piclop "" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:754003 "", it's an Atlass with a different form. I use:
  Freelss-1-27-atlas3d from Murobo LLC
Raspberry Pi «3B +
Camera Raspberry 5 MP
Raspberry Pi 3D HL Interface Scanner PICLOP ATLAS FreeLSS
POLOLU-2134 DRV8834 Low-Voltage Motor Driver Stepper Driver 2.5V 10.8V FBA
Nema 17
Magnet 5V 4amperes
Lasers X2
Everything works, laser lcd, connection to the server. But I can not move the Nema 17 engine.
I tested several directions of motor wiring:
Red, black, blue, green
Red, blue, black, green
And even like Atlass:
Black, green, red, blue
But impossible to move Nema 17.
Someone could give an idea of the problem. I've been there for days and there, I do not know what to do.
Thank you in advance

For those who like me, the same problem is that no one helps.
Here is the solution I found that worked for me.
The card did not work any work done on it. So I used this diagram (see image at the bottom of the page). But the 12 volts did not work either, regardless of the Stepper Driver used. So I used a 5Volts 4 amp power supply for the POLOLU-2134 DRV8834.
And that to work.
If it can help someone, it is with pleasure.

Thanks to Minautor who made me discover this schema on the forum

What power supply where you originally using? It's common knowledge that all Pi's from the B and beyond require a minimum of 2.5 AMPS just for them to work. That does not include the Amperage needed for the other components in your system. Ideally the motor should have a separate higher voltage and current supply like 12 volts at 5 amps. But if you run the entire system from a 4 volt supply then it would stand to reason that 4 amps would work but I would honestly use 6 to 10 amps just to make sure there was some over head. Since the motor is using that supply as well.

Good job figuring it out!

What is the value of the blue potentiometers in the laser circuit?

@tatoo23
The max voltage for the DRV8834 is 10.8V.

For the 12V, I tested with 12V 2 A and 12V 3 A. But even if the Nema does not move, the engine driver heat enormously. With more amperes, I imagine he would have more heat.
Thank you

Re: Piclop/Atlass No move Néma 17

knowack
I do not really have merit, it's been days / weeks that I'm on it. And I have not finished, although I could start doing some scans.
For this scheme, I do not know, but other schemes give them for 100 KOhms, I think. (To check)
For the moment, I soldered the potentiometers, but I do not use them, I connected the least directly to the ULN2003A and the most to 5V
Thank you

For DRV8834, I use 5V and 4 amps and it really does not heat, even after several hours. (In addition I could even lower them a bit)
Thank you

I use a 5V 4A supply with a custom scanner board and it works fine.  I calibrate the DRV8834 to 0.75V - and use a low voltage stepper motor.  This one - https://www.pololu.com/product/2267.
