Topic: Da Vinci 1.0 Pro hotend PCB or the whole unit needed

Maybe PCB's of other Da Vinci hotends are compatible with PRO as well?

That little ATML chip on the back of the PCB is a serial eeprom and it contains the ID for the hotend. If it is placed in a machine that it is not meant for, the machine will let you know it.
