Topic: ibox nano on ebay with $89 shipping in US

does anybody else on here that remembers when this was made think that much shipping is justified for a parts unit as small and lite as they are?

I thought they made a type O and added an extra 8 by mistake but they replied saying it was correct LOL its like the size/weight of a quart of Milk. not an SD 12x12x12 workbench for pete sake.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

They do that to avoid the final value fee of
nearly 10%. Guess they don't know ebay now charges shipping fee of 8% as well because of idiots like this.

It's actually 10% of the entire transaction, and it's exactly as you said, because there those that were trying to avoid paying fees by listing $10 item for $1, with $9 shipping.

So now everybody pays 10% of the final selling price, including shipping.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...

I looked at the product website, the final print quality looks not much (if any) better than my fdm printer, although they claim z-axis resolution is even higher than formlabs, but z-band are terrible.

I have not got my Wanhao D7 print stick to build plate yet, so I don't know what to expect, hopefully it will be something better than this.

This was done on a D7 with cheap resin that was lacking inhibitor so it is overexposed and bleed some light.

shipping is calculated by bidder location but still. and yes quality was NOT consistent and why many passed on it plus tiny build size. but designer had some kind of life altering event as he just vanished b4 public release and no support for Q&A even and project ended up in a storage locker auction of the few dozen units and parts for a few dozen more which got cannibalized through ebay and I grabbed photos of a couple sellers that sold off parts with info on where they were supplied from just in case I ever found one like this cheap I know where to get parts for them.
