I salvaged a couple of these from work they were made in 2010 wondering how easy or difficult it would be to use on a 3d printer.

i don't think the resolution is supported by Marlin, with some light modification of Marlin code, you can make use of top left of 128 x 64 od the screen, which is less than half of the screen, i don't think it will look good.

The manual you posted basically says its not a serial interface, so requires more pins to drive it. Has the LCD got a COB to controll it and has any sign of a serial interface?
