Thanks for this pretty NTAG refill tool (v1.52).
Works excellent with PLA for miniMaker.

Now i got a problem with PETG. Creating a NFD tab is really simple. Only setting the nozzle temperature is disabled and preset to 215 degree.
This is too low. The layers adhere not well and the printed object is useless.
Is there any way to enable setting of nozzle temperature for PETG too?
I appreciate that very much.

When i open the app first i get the screen "Waiting for NFC tag scan" and the second screen is "TAG information" when a tag was found.
There is no possibility (menu) to select more pages than these two.
I'm using a Huawei P9 lite under android 7.0

Hello!

the page 9 (0x08) is the page for filament type and color.

You mean the page 13 (0x0C). This page was originally planned for extruder and bed temperature.
But this was never used for that on Mini/Nano/Junior series.

XYZ use the filament colors to adjust the temperature. Furthermore, you can change it +/- 10°C in the printing software.

In my App, on the first screen (top right corner) you can enable the experimenting mode. This give you the ability to change the extruder and bed temperature (page 13). But this will not help you!

Changing only the color will not help you too. XYZ PETG supports only four colors. If I remember well it was: Clear Red, Orange, White and Clear Blue.
In the worst case it will lock the TAG or mark as non-original/useable.

This is one of the few disadvantages of XYZPrinting system.

Your TAG is not empty or some pages are locked, wrong password, ect.

Try other one, new one!

Thanks to all - i found a solution

  • Could open experimental page in refill tool and adjust temperature to required value

  • XYZ print software has a feature called "extended editor".
    Using this you can detemine a lot of different settings including extruder temperature

This was the solution i was looking for. Now it works satisfiying with PETG
