Topic: Scan problem with Da Vinci Pro 1.0

I'm using the latest software (2.2.18) and it calibrated fine.
When i'm trying to scan an object (an apple for testing), everything seems fine (i see the 'laser line' and the turntable moves fine), but i don't get any object - it seems like no points are found, no mesh is being created (tried every mode - auto, light, dark,...).

The whole scanning process takes about 5 minutes, but i don't get any result, just empty.

Can anyone help?

Just found out that when i save the result, i do get an object, but in the xyz scan software i don't see anything (and because of this i can't edit the object before saving).

You should read up on scanning requirements. The surface of an apple is shiney so it needs to be matted. They sell a spray to do this. Shiney or clear objects make poor scanning samples.

It's not that the scanning result is poor, i just don't see anything at all in xyz scan software.
