Topic: E3D aqua

So who here is up to trying the newest extruder in the E3D  family . this one is designed for heated print chambers . where ambient air temps make air cooing a bit of a challenge.
A bit pricey as the full kit  is just under $300 for the full set up . you can just buy the extruder and us a computer cooler set up and save a few buck or get an even better setup for more money.

sorry, but no. Not even remotely interested and have zero need of it.

99.8% of home 3d printer users do not have a need for it, either.

Re: E3D aqua

Cool idea, now not only can we experience jams, broken glass, and all the other printer issues but now we can add leaks to the long list as well..

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.

Re: E3D aqua

While I didn't  expect  folks to RUSH out to buy one or two of these I did expect a little more positive response.

And of course I expect Tim at Filastuder to carry these as well.
All of my upgraded extruders ar E3D products I have a titan with a regular extruder and an aero on the FT5.

And yes I understand the folks that have want a $ 300  printer will not need or want one.

I still find it very intriguing.

I do not need or want one. If I need, I can easily make one with my E3D clone and much better than the E3D aqua.

It don't even have "preferred leaking spot" and overpresure valve design in case the pipe leaks or busted. It will happen sooner or later with some naive user poke the pipe intentionally or accidentally. It is going to be "fun" when the coolant spill on >240C hotend. This is still alpha test version I think.
