Topic: No pillars on my overhangs!

Hi guys, my 1st post here.. having a nightmare with the slic3r settings on my solidoodle press....

I'm using soliprint and trying to print something that has a 45 degree angle (see pic below), but nothing I do will get the support pillars to generate!(slic3r settings are also below.)

Does anyone have a clue for me?  Many thanks in advance smile

Use CURA! I really liked Slic3r until i figured out Cura. I think Slic3r is still a good program, but honestly give it a shot.

I bounce back and forth between Slic3r and Cura; I find that occasionally where one has problems slicing, the other will do a better job.

Buy yourself a $10 raspberry pi zero and run octoprint. Cura has been working really well for me. Soliprint is trash.
