Topic: Finishing methods for models.

How does one remove support materials from a model? Scissors? Is there a special way to sand away plastic that shows up where it shouldn't? And does anyone have a good method for using acetone to help hide the layers? Before and after picture examples? How does someone safely use acetone? Does it alter the plastic in anyway beyond just melting it a little?

There are at least half a dozen threads on finishing stations at the moment, please use the search function.
