Topic: Any software or slicer which doesn't let motors run at resonance?

I noticed that at certain frequencies the motors on my CTC printers vibrate terribly, anyone else seen this?

In general is there a way to stop the motors from running at resonance and therefore reduce vibration?

The only fix is to get rid of the stock makerbot board and use a different dual extruder capable board. I used the Azteeg X3 from Panucatt devices and Viki II LCD interface. You get it here.

One other option you might try is to update the firmware to sailfish on the stock board. With the Azteeg in my machine it is so quite I can not hear from across the room.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

You can use the in-built Slicer of SelfCAD https://www.selfcad.com.
It's great and easy to use and get started. No need for downloading as it runs on the browser.
