Topic: Windows 7

Hey guys,

I remember seeing a post about problems with windows 7 and usb port speeds.

Ive just installed windows 7 ultimate (64bit) on my new pc.

Is this something Ill need to change for my solidoodle to work when i get it?

I'm changing from a windows vista laptop to a windows 7 64 bit laptop tonight.  I'll let you know if I have any trouble.

I think you'll be OK as long as you install the 32 bit version of the Python. Solidoodle mentions this in the "How to install software" section on their web site.
I also have Windows 7 64 bit installed on the laptop I am going to use for my Solidoodle when I get it.

I have ran my solidoodle on a 64bit windows 7 with no problems at all, followed the solidoodle installation instructions.

I also use windows 7 64 bit OS. I followed the solidoodle instructions using the 32 bit python and have absolutely no issues.

Yeah, I'm up and running with win7 now, worked fine.
