Topic: Camera compatibility

Which camera is compatible with FreeLss?
My options are:
1. Unofficial rev 1.3 5Mp https://m.aliexpress.com/item/1752058692.html
2. Official v2 8Mp https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32664996414.html

Does it really have to be an official Pi camera v1.
Because of the price, I am tempted by the unofficial rev 1.3 above.

It is tested against the v1.3 5MP camera by the Raspberry Pi Foundation.  It's possible that the Chinese imitation cameras also work, but I don't test them and can't say for sure.

Does any of you have a Chinese knockoff camera ?
Does it work transparently as if it was the original camera ?
