Topic: HELLO!!!

Very excited to be apart of this community.

I am about to purchase a 3d printer and was wondering if anyone knew the best bang for my buck!

My limit is about $1500.

THANKS!

Re: HELLO!!!

Hi nerfz i think i replied to tos question before but here goes. I've had my sd3 for about 2 weeks now and had it working properly for abotu 1 week. the sd3 is a good solid printer once youget it dialed in. there is plenty to be doen if you want to tinker it or not.  the price is around 800 for with one of the largest build areas for the price. it comes with a metal case and though there have been a few problems overall i think its a good solid design and the propblems are more the aberation than the norm.

you could then spend the extra 700 from your project on one of elemets extruders when he finalizes the design and plastic pellets. that would leave you about 400

take the extra 400 and spend 200 on ready made plasticfilament and the last on 3dmodeling classes and tutorials.

elmoret said it's about 200ish. i am not sure if that price includes shipping or not, it's a good investment to lower your filament cost.
