Topic: E3D v6 Modified for Solidoodle 4

To check fit of all my parts I went ahead an modeled the E3D v6 before attachment on my SD4.  I used a lathe to trim the upper flange off.  Pretty much the only modification to the hot end other than making wire harnesses.  STEP attached.

wow, nice work! excellent details.

I did a draft version - just the basic shape with the important dimensions - for tweaking things myself - but this is VERY nice. smile

Nice Job.  I did one as well, along with the rest of the Solidoodle.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.
